Dr Andrew Owen

Director- Interventional Radiology

Andrew was awarded his primary medical degree by Charing Cross and Westminster Medical School, London, achieving a 1st Class degree in Physiology as part of his undergraduate studies. His initial postgraduate training was in Medicine and he obtained Membership of the Royal College of Physicians before embarking on a career in Radiology.

Dr Owen trained in Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology in Oxford, UK obtaining Fellowship of the Royal College of Radiologists and subsequently undertook consecutive Interventional Radiology Fellowships, first at Glasgow University Hospitals, Scotland and then at Austin Health, Melbourne. In 2018 he returned to Oxford for a 6 month sabbatical, gaining advanced training in thermal ablation and both prostate and uterine artery embolisation.

He has published in peer-reviewed journals, has presented his work at International conferences and is a reviewer for the Journal of Vascular and Interventional Radiology.
