Interventional and Diagnostic Radiologist
Upon completion of his training, Steel worked as a radiologist in various regional and remote locations around Australia including far north and central Queensland. Steel is a strong advocate for equitable access to healthcare in regional and remote settings. He sits as an acting committee member for the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiology Workforce committee, and maintains a strong interest in professional advocacy.
Having developed an aptitude for procedural medicine, Steel performed further subspecialist training in Interventional Radiology at St Vincent’s Hospital Melbourne, where he maintains a strong interest in Interventional Oncology and Minimally Invasive Radiological Interventions.
